The Yangarra Estate Vineyard New Cellar Door and Bottle Store Project is an impressive and innovative venture that Jackson Family Investments Australia Pty Ltd undertook to align with its strategic goals and commitment to excellence.

The project’s focal point is the architecturally designed New Cellar Door and Bottle Store, seamlessly integrated into the existing operational winery and vineyard landscape. This elegant structure complements and showcases the company’s range of premium table wines produced under strict bio-dynamic and organic certifications and embodies a harmonious fusion of aesthetics and functionality.

The expansion of warehouse storage capacity, which now houses the winery’s diverse packaging requirements, also addresses their need to cater to ever-expanding global market demands with enhanced precision and control.

Pascale Construction meticulously constructed several functional zones and distinctive features, including:

Cellar Door: A two-storey structure boasting an inclining curved roof section that enhances the architectural aesthetics while directing visitors’ attention to a captivating centrepiece is designed to complement the premium table wines produced under strict bio-dynamic and organic certifications. The high level of detail and standard of finishes reflect the client’s commitment to excellence.

Feature Ferment Store: This single-storey mono-sloping roof structure is the operational hub of the winery and offers patrons a unique, firsthand glimpse into the artistry behind the winemaking process.

Finished Goods Bottle Store: This single-storey gable roof structure provides an ideal environment for operations and onsite bottle storage. The construction is a testament to engineering ingenuity, combining poured in-situ concrete footings, precast concrete wall panels, structural steel, and light steel stud wall framing with a high thermal rating to maintain a constant temperature year-round.

Interior Standards: The internal space exudes an elevated sense of finesse, characterised by plasterboard wall and ceiling linings, striking ‘rolling wave’ feature timber batten ceilings with integrated lighting, burnished concrete floors adorned with brass inserts, and a prominent hardwood timber staircase connecting levels. Intricately detailed joinery and reconstituted stone benchtops to the wine sales bar and display units further reflect the high standards and level of detail and finishes.

External Standards: The external veneer, a statement of excellence, encompasses pre-coloured rolled metal cladding, fully glazed curtain walls, aluminium windows and doors, glazed balustrades, compressed composite panels, and distinct concaved curved roofing over the wine lounge and balcony.

In summary, this project is a testament to innovation, collaboration, and the pursuit of building structures and enduring relationships.
