Working to the Lendlease Global Minimum Requirements, Pascale Construction was able to deliver a successful project 5 weeks ahead of schedule.

Process

The construction of thirteen independent living units located on the private Lend Lease “Townsend Park” site situated at Hove was awarded to Pascale Construction with a completion date June 2018.  The project included a common landscaped area along the front of the properties, with private secure garden areas at the rear of the units.

There were 4 different floor plans that were constructed, providing multiple layout options for future purchasers.

Challenges included working within an operating Aged Care facility and sharing access points as well as integration of existing services and infrastructure. To manage this there was a close continual liaison with the facility manager, as well as the continued working within and compliance to the stringent Lendlease Global Minimal Requirements. This was achieved with outstanding results.

Resolution

The project was challenging in regards to the existing levels that we had to work with. This took considered time and effort in collaboration with the client and civil engineer to successfully coordinate an aesthetically pleasing and functional end result for future residents. 

The units feature bluestone & sandstone cladding to the entrances with rendered external walls, giving the homes distinctive character whilst complementing surrounding buildings.

Internally, each unit was fitted with new security systems, wireless nurse call systems, Miele appliances & LED lighting and offers open plan living and with spacious alfresco areas. The living areas and dining areas contain feature timber flooring, caeserstone benches and feature pendant lighting, marrying luxury with durability.

The Pascale Construction team successfully delivered this project five weeks ahead of program.
