Pascale Construction was engaged as Managing Contractor to relocate the tic:toc Home Loans head office into Level 7 of 121 King William St Adelaide. As there was a drop dead date to be up and operational within the new premises, with a large cost impost on the client if it wasn’t achieved, time was critical and was a clear driver for the success of this project. Our team coordinated the design consultants, collaborated in design workshops with the client, and drove efficiency to ensure cost and time targets were maintained. To help expedite the process we initiated an early works package to decommission the floor, as well as pre-order long lead time equipment and furniture. We also staggered the tendering phase so that critical early trades could be engaged and locked into the program.

The fit out works involved the creation of an open plan working space for 100 work stations, with collaboration and training areas, as well as meeting rooms and staff congregation zones. Simple clear lines throughout the floor delineate work zones and functions, without creating barriers or obstructions to the collaborative culture which is a cornerstone for the client. Being a “Fintech” company, significant investment went into technology on the floor for staff use, including AV, Cbus controls and IT infrastructure.

The project was a success, with the client moving into the floor prior to the scheduled drop dead date, as well as being under the target budget. As testament to our hard work Pascale have been commissioned to coordinate tic:toc’s expansion plans onto Level 8.
