New state of the art library and science facilities.
Process
Construction of new 2 Storey facility which included Science Laboratories, General Learning Areas and Resource Centre. The works were carried out within occupied and operational school campus necessitating strict adherence to stringent site and safety controls.
The main components of construction included concrete raft slab, complex structural steel, suspended Delta Core concrete slab, precast concrete panels, commercial aluminium windows and metal deck roof.
Fit for purpose specialist services were incorporated into the construction predominantly for the science laboratories and sophisticated mechanical plant and equipment.
A new lift service was provided externally to an adjacent building and an in-situ concrete over-pass link constructed connecting the new facility with the existing structure.
