Tali Group – Dutton Road, Mount Barker

Pascale Construction were engaged to construct a double storey commercial premises for the Tali Corporation Pty Ltd, at Dutton Road, Mount Barker. 

The project consisted of three separate tenancy areas (two downstairs and one upstairs), the installation of an internal staircase and elevator and an external ramp and stair combination, and a large carpark.  This project featured shop front glazing to both levels of the Dutton Road elevation and Alucobond cladding. Construction consisted of reinforced concrete, ground and suspended slabs, structural steel frame and metal deck roofing.

A long entry canopy spans most of the Dutton Road elevation and extends out to the existing footpath with external concrete ramp and stair combination and stainless steel balustrade. 

The close proximity of the main road prompted extensive discussions with Council with regards to access, traffic management and best practice safety for the work zone. Pascale Construction provided traffic management solutions to Council which were approved and implemented to minimise impact and disruption to traffic, pedestrians and surrounding businesses.

Internally, the building features a nine person elevator, a Tasmanian Oak staircase with a stainless steel balustrade and Kingspan K18 insulated plasterboard to the interior face of all external walls. The offices were maintained in a minimalistic level to allow new tenants to evolve the space as required.

Construction of a new twenty five carpark with a custom made stainless steel bike rack and pram ramps provides the local community with additional parking options.
