Process
Our team was engaged by the school to complete the refurbishment of the Early Learning Centre. The scope of work comprised alterations and refurb to the Ground Floor of Hayward, Cudmore and Millington Buildings, and the Village Square. It included internal alterations and rework to fenestration, Village Square redevelopment with new canopies, screens and planting, as well as demolition of existing play space for fence replacement.
Resolution
This expansion to the existing St Peter’s Woodlands Grammar School Early Learning Centre has allowed the school to increase the number of places for ELC and OSHC students, from 75 to 120 places.
The stringent requirements set by the client regarding program and conduct on site was meticulously adhered to as the majority of the works were required to be conducted and completed during the school’s Christmas shutdown period, four and half weeks, in readiness for the commencement of the new school year.
Similarly, site coordination and conduct of building works was critical as some of the works had to be completed within the operating school environment.
