Samaritan College – St Teresa’s Campus, Whyalla

This Education project involved the construction of a new two storey building within an operating school facility located within 1km of the foreshore.

This project was a complex build which involved site restrictions and challenges from commencement. Significant rock deposits were discovered during the initial site preparation phase, and we worked closely with the engineers to find a solution to the obstruction without adding significant cost or time implications to the project.

Additionally, the site was very tight and situated adjacent to a busy main road with low lying powerlines, which restricted access and limited the flexibility for storage of plant equipment and materials. These challenges were managed through a considered and planned approach to the sequencing of trades and delivery of materials, while also accommodating the added complexity of its regional location.

A very successful build where the clients are delighted with the result and were very pleased with Pascale’s consistent management of safety within an operating school environment.
