This project was part of an ongoing upgrade to the North Laura Hotel. Stage 1 works involved the building of eleven (11) studio-type apartments, and included roadways, car parking and footpaths.

The infrastructure upgrade necessitated the installation of a 20kl subterranean detention tank, a 32kl water storage tank, new sewer and septic tanks and an upgraded electrical sub mains to both the new and existing buildings.

The apartments showcase sleek up-market finishes with large format tiles and Caesarstone benchtops throughout. With space saver ideas used by custom-made TV units and built-in-robes, these apartments are adaptable for long or short term accommodation. Colorbond roof sheeting, commercial style windows, fascia and gutters completed the upgrade, with the colours chosen to harmonise the new buildings with existing structures.

This project brought its fair share of challenges, with the remote location, and the upgrade and construction occurring whilst the existing hotel was still operational. However, with insightful and strategic programming and coordination, and a collaborative effort between the Client, Tenants, Consultancy team and the Pascale Project Team, agreeable solutions were determined for these and any arising issues.

This collective approach enriched the building experience for all parties, with a successful end result for the Client.

With this strong foundation of trust and respect, Pascale Construction were delighted to be chosen to complete the next stage of the three stage development.
