Clayton Church Homes, Norwood

The project consisted of the construction of 9 architecturally designed, highly detailed and appointed independent living units over two sites, with extensive site works and site boundary interface.  The units are constructed on raft concrete slab with light weight steel roof and wall frames, large format limestone block external walls, semi commercial aluminium windows and metal roof.  Feature canopies are also incorporated with western red cedar soffit linings.

Each contemporary home is fitted out with high quality fixtures, lighting, ducted HVAC system, finishes and appliances and offers spacious open plan living.  Internally the walls and ceilings are lined with flushed plasterboard, large format porcelain tiles to floor and full height tiling to bathrooms, double garages and alfresco areas.

The main feature of the buildings is the limestone large format blocks on external walls.

We workshopped with the masons the appropriate method for safely handling each block, as well as measures for protection upon completion.
